Talk about dedication. The founding fathers of World Dairy Expo literally bet the farm - to the tune of $100,000 - just to save the show in its third year.

Sounds like an easy decision these days. But that wasn't the case in 1969 when the show had lost piles of money in each of its first two years.

The person asking the questions during an interview in Lake Mills, Wis., is yours truly as we set out to produce We Need A Show, the 212-page book on the 50 years of World Dairy Expo.
